JJJ's Newsletter #11 - Go back to News
Top of the morning to you, Triple J's members! We'd like to begin by wishing everyone a speedy recovery after lastnight's St. Patrick's Day celebration! Fishhead Stew performed at the Capital Hotel - their first performance in 2006. Anyone who was in attendance will agree that they put on an amazing show! Thanks to Rick and Amelia for making it happen!
There's much to fill you in, so let's get started!
On Thursday afternoon, a number of artists spent the afternoon at the Capital Hotel with Al Foster and film crew from CBC. Next Sunday, March 26, at 10 am or 10 pm, on the SUNDAY REPORT, you will witness interviews and performances by Drifting, Death in Venice, DJKJ, Reid Parent and Jordi! This is a national news program on CBC, and it gives great exposure to our up and coming artists. Check it out!

Not only can you come out to support your favourite artists, but you can also enjoy the barbeque or beer gardens! That's right....the Great Northern Ski Society will be running the barbeque, and Triple J's Music will be hosting the Yukon Brewing Company Beer Gardens! The reason we're doing all of this is, of course, for the snowboarding competitions. Snowboard Yukon will be hosting the Yukon Snowboarding Championships! Parents, friends, skiiers, snowboarders, musicians, media, and more are invited to join us! For more information on the competitions, please check out: www.snowboardyukon.com.
